The Omaha Film Festival is partnering with the First Annual Omaha National Martial Arts Championship to highlight the art of action and martial arts filmmaking!

ANATOMY OF AN ACTION SCENE SEMINAR with guests Martial Arts Action Hero Don "the Dragon" Wilson and award-winning Director and Stunt Choreographer Art Camacho.
A Q & A session with Don and Art, followed by a workshop for filmmakers and Martial Artists that will teach the basics in creating a realistic looking Martial Arts action scene for film, from choreography to camera placement to lighting.
$20 for filmmakers and non-competing Martial Artists $15 for students FREE to pre-registered competitors

SO YOU WANT TO BE A MARTIAL ARTS STAR? SCREEN TEST AN OPEN AUDITION for Martial Artists who think they have what it takes to be a Martial Arts film star! You will be given a few lines of dialogue and will be taught choreography for a 30 second martial arts action scene. Not a Martial Artist? If you are an actor or actress, but don’t have martial arts training, don’t fear! You will be given a few lines of dialogue and will be taught choreography for a 30 second basic action scene that anyone can learn! All auditions will be filmed by staff from the Omaha Film Festival, and auditions will be viewed by industry professionals for possible consideration in upcoming film projects! You will also be able to purchase a copy of your audition on DVD for $5, a nice addition for your talent reel!
